Pilot terms
The short version of how the free pilot works, in plain English.
1. Who the customer is
Your firm is our customer. Poised Prep never contracts with, sells to or advises claimants. You decide which clients take part.
2. What the pilot includes
Up to 5 practice hearings at no charge, used within 30 days of signing up. Your client talks to an AI practice judge (and, if you choose, an AI vocational expert) by voice or text in their browser. Our founder reviews every session and you get a written debrief within 2 business days. There is no obligation to buy, and nothing is ever charged without a separate written order.
3. Not legal advice
Sessions and debriefs are practice tools for you. They are not legal advice, they don't replace your judgement, and they never predict how SSA or any judge will decide. The AI does not tell clients what to say; it asks questions, and the debrief flags points for you to clarify. Testimony must always be truthful.
4. You review first
Debriefs are addressed to you only. You review every debrief before sharing any part of it with your client.
5. Client consent
Before a session, you get your client's consent and confirm it in the intake form. Each session also starts with an AI disclosure and a consent checkbox. Your client can stop at any time.
6. AI disclosure
Every session opens by saying it is an AI practice tool, not a real judge, and not the real hearing. No AI voice claims to be a real judge, SSA employee or vocational expert.
7. No government affiliation
Poised Prep is a private company. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Social Security Administration or any court.
8. Confidentiality
We treat case summaries, transcripts and debriefs as your confidential information, use them only to run the service, and never use them to train AI models. Audio is not stored. Transcripts and debriefs are deleted 30 days after the session. We may keep anonymous, aggregate quality figures such as average session length.
9. Security incidents
If we confirm unauthorized access to your data, we will tell you without undue delay and within 72 hours.
10. Feedback
You're welcome to send feedback. We may use it to improve the product, with no obligation either way.
11. Liability
The pilot is free and provided as-is. Poised Prep's total liability is limited to USD 1,000.
12. Ending the pilot
Either side can end the pilot at any time by email. Your data is then deleted under the rules above.
